However, the position of Village Regulations within the hierarchy of national legislation has been a matter of debate, particularly following the enactment of Law No. 12 of 2011 on the Formation of Laws and Regulations, which does not include Village Regulations in the legal hierarchy. This study aims to analyze the status and legal force of Village Regulations within the national legal system and its implications for village autonomy. The research method employed is normative juridical with statutory and conceptual approaches. The analysis shows that although Village Regulations is not explicitly mentioned in the legislative hierarchy, it retains legal legitimacy under Law No. 6 of 2014 on Villages. Village Regulations has binding legal force within village jurisdictions as long as it does not conflict with higher-level regulations or the public interest. However, the ambiguity of Village Regulations’ position within the legal hierarchy creates potential normative conflicts and legal uncertainty. Therefore, clearer regulations are needed to explicitly define the position of Village Regulations within the national legal system to strengthen the effectiveness of village autonomy.

Dyto Arisjulyanto Copyright (c) 2025 Journal of Social And Education Research https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 https://journal.larpainstitute.com/index.php/jser/article/view/131 Tue, 30 Sep 2025 00:00:00 +0800 Technology-Based Learning Management in Islamic Schools https://journal.larpainstitute.com/index.php/jser/article/view/133
The development of information technology has transformed the dynamics of education, including in Islamic schools, making the implementation of technology-based learning management essential to improving the quality and effectiveness of the teaching and learning process. This study employs a literature review method by analyzing eight scholarly articles published between 2012 and 2025, aiming to identify best practices, implementation strategies, challenges, and the impact of technology on learning management. The analysis was conducted through content analysis and presented in a literature review table covering research focus and key findings. The results reveal that the successful implementation of technology largely depends on school leadership, teacher readiness and competence, facility support, curriculum management, and learning evaluation. Systematic managerial strategies enable optimal utilization of technology to enhance students’ motivation, engagement, and creativity while maintaining alignment with Islamic educational values. This study provides both theoretical and practical contributions to the development of Islamic education in the digital era and serves as a foundation for future research on the integration of technology in learning management.

Ahmad Yani, Maria Ulfa Copyright (c) 2025 Journal of Social And Education Research https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 https://journal.larpainstitute.com/index.php/jser/article/view/133 Fri, 26 Sep 2025 00:00:00 +0800 Implementation of Warm Compress Therapy for Hyperthermia in Patients with Tropical Malaria: A Case Study https://journal.larpainstitute.com/index.php/jser/article/view/140
Malaria is an infectious disease transmitted by infected female Anopheles mosquitoes. This disease is caused by the parasitic Plasmodium protozoa that enter the human bloodstream through mosquito bites. Among the various types of Plasmodium that can infect humans, Plasmodium knowlesi, Plasmodium vivax, Plasmodium ovale, Plasmodium malariae, and Plasmodium falciparum are the most dangerous because they can cause death or serious complications. This case study aims to evaluate the effect of warm compresses on hyperthermia in tropical malaria patients in class I & II rooms of Serui Regional Hospital, Papua on February 18, 2025. The author uses a descriptive research method by conducting observations and observations using a nursing process approach. The results of the study showed that the application of warm compress therapy to hyperthermia combined with pharmacological therapy was effective in overcoming hyperthermia in tropical malaria patients. There was a decrease in body temperature from 39.8 ? to 36.7 ? after implementation for 1 day. Monitoring vital signs and evaluating body temperature regularly is very important to assess the effective ness of the intervention. Conclusion: This study emphasizes the effect of warm compress as a non-pharmacological approach in the management of hyperthermia in tropical malaria patients to reduce body temperature and prevent further complications.

Fairuz Salsabila Yunus, Dedy Arisjulyanto, Herman Budidharma Bonay, Nofita Dewi Kok Mesa Copyright (c) 2025 Journal of Social And Education Research https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 https://journal.larpainstitute.com/index.php/jser/article/view/140 Mon, 15 Sep 2025 00:00:00 +0800 Implementation of Deep Breathing Relaxation to Manage Acute Pain in Dyspepsia Patients in the Internal Ward of Serui Regional General Hospital https://journal.larpainstitute.com/index.php/jser/article/view/143
Dyspepsia is a common digestive disorder characterized by symptoms such as epigastric pain, nausea, and vomiting. Its prevalence in Indonesia reaches 40–50% and it is a leading cause of hospitalization. Acute pain in dyspepsia often affects patients’ quality of life, thus requiring appropriate nursing care. This case study applied a nursing process approach, including assessment, diagnosis, intervention, implementation, and evaluation, to provide care for a dyspepsia patient experiencing acute pain, aiming to reduce complaints and improve comfort. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and physical examinations on February 24–25, 2025, at Serui Regional General Hospital. The data analysis concluded that effective communication skills were essential during assessment, nursing diagnoses were tailored to the patient’s condition, and the diagnoses identified included acute pain, nausea, nutritional imbalance, and knowledge deficit. The primary priority was acute pain, managed through pain management interventions, resulting in decreased pain levels. The acute pain issue was resolved on the first day, achieving the desired goals and outcome criteria. Nursing care provided to patient Nn. R.T successfully addressed the acute pain problem.
Ardiana, Dedy Arisjulyanto, Ardhanari Hendra Kusuma, Herman Budidharma Bonay, Nofita Dewi Kok Mesa Copyright (c) 2025 Journal of Social And Education Research https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 https://journal.larpainstitute.com/index.php/jser/article/view/143 Tue, 16 Sep 2025 00:00:00 +0800 Implementation of Warm Compress on Mrs. A. R., a Malaria Patient with Hyperthermia, in Class I & II Ward of Serui General Hospital https://journal.larpainstitute.com/index.php/jser/article/view/149
. Introduction Malaria is an infectious disease caused by Plasmodium through the bite of a female Anopheles mosquito. In 2022, WHO recorded 249 million cases of malaria globally. In Indonesia, cases reached 418,546 in 2023, with Papua contributing 92% of the total cases. Yapen Islands Regency recorded 21,238 cases in the first semester of 2023. One of the main symptoms of malaria is hyperthermia, which if not treated immediately, can cause serious complications such as febrile seizures, impaired consciousness, and organ damage. This therapy stimulates peripheral vasodilation, which helps reduce body temperature naturally. The purpose of this study was to describe the implementation and effectiveness of warm compress therapy in malaria patients with hyperthermia. The method used is a descriptive case study. This study uses a descriptive case study approach with the aim of describing the implementation of warm compress therapy as a nursing intervention in malaria patients with hyperthermia problems. The results showed a significant decrease in body temperature and increased patient comfort. The suggestion from this study is the need for education to families and health cadres about this therapy procedure. In conclusion, warm compress therapy is a simple, safe, effective nursing solution that is suitable for use in areas with limited resources. Hyperthermia treatment must be carried out quickly and precisely. An effective and practical solution is the application of warm compress therapy to certain areas of the body (forehead, armpits, groin) using water at a temperature of 37–40°C.
Marilurice Bisai, Dedy Arisjulyanto, Herman Budidharma Bonay, Ardhanari Hendra Kusuma Copyright (c) 2025 Journal of Social And Education Research https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 https://journal.larpainstitute.com/index.php/jser/article/view/149 Tue, 16 Sep 2025 00:00:00 +0800 Association between Maternal Parity and Utilization of PMTCT Services in HIV/AIDS Prevention at Biak Kota Primary Health Center https://journal.larpainstitute.com/index.php/jser/article/view/177
Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) is the causative agent of Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS) and can be transmitted from mother to child during pregnancy, childbirth, and breastfeeding. Utilization of Prevention of Mother-to-Child Transmission (PMTCT) services by pregnant women is a crucial strategy to prevent vertical transmission of HIV. This study aimed to analyze factors associated with the utilization of PMTCT services among pregnant women attending antenatal care at Biak Kota Primary Health Center, Biak Numfor Regency. This study employed an observational design with a cross-sectional approach. A total of 80 pregnant women who attended antenatal care at Biak Kota Primary Health Center were selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire. Data analysis included univariate analysis, bivariate analysis using the Chi-square test, and multivariate analysis to identify the most influential factors related to PMTCT service utilization. The results showed that educational level was not significantly associated with PMTCT service utilization (p = 0.168). In contrast, parity was significantly associated with PMTCT utilization (p = 0.007). Exposure to PMTCT-related information was also significantly associated with PMTCT service utilization (p < 0.05). Meanwhile, waiting time for services showed no significant association with PMTCT utilization (p = 0.092). Multivariate analysis revealed that exposure to PMTCT information was the most dominant factor associated with PMTCT service utilization. In conclusion, increased exposure to PMTCT information is associated with higher utilization of PMTCT services among pregnant women. Adequate dissemination of information enhances pregnant women’s knowledge and awareness of the benefits of PMTCT as an effective strategy for preventing mother-to-child transmission of HIV.
Inggrit Rita Uli Manik Copyright (c) 2025 Journal of Social And Education Research https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 https://journal.larpainstitute.com/index.php/jser/article/view/177 Sun, 28 Sep 2025 00:00:00 +0800 The Related Qualitative Study About Diabetes In The Eastern Region Of Indonesia: The Understanding, The Health Belief, And The Behaviors Of Diabetes Type 2 Patients https://journal.larpainstitute.com/index.php/jser/article/view/179
Diabetes has steadily increased in the last two decades. In 2022, the number of people with hypertension in Bandung reached 706,051 cases. Hypertension management can be carried out through various non-pharmacological therapies, including bay leaf decoction, celery juice, ginger decoction, date infused water, lemon and watermelon infused water, and cucumber infused water. Cucumber infused water contains high levels of magnesium, calcium, potassium, and flavonoids, which may help reduce blood pressure. This study aimed to determine the effect of cucumber infused water on blood pressure among patients with hypertension at Babakan Sari Community Health Center. The study employed a pre-experimental (quasi-experimental) design using a one-group pretest–posttest approach. A total of 36 participants were included. The analysis showed a significant reduction in blood pressure after the administration of cucumber infused water, with a p-value less than ? = 0.05. A significant difference was observed in systolic blood pressure before and after the intervention (Z = ?5.324, p = 0.000), as well as in diastolic blood pressure (Z = ?5.362, p = 0.001). These results indicate that cucumber infused water has a significant effect on lowering blood pressure among pre-elderly patients with hypertension at Babakan Sari Community Health Center. This intervention is expected to be applied in daily life as an alternative non-pharmacological approach for hypertension management
Arie Sulistiyawati, Irma Nur Amalia, Cheila Azka Zahratunnisa Copyright (c) 2025 Journal of Social And Education Research https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 https://journal.larpainstitute.com/index.php/jser/article/view/180 Sun, 28 Sep 2025 00:00:00 +0800
