Manfaat Dan Potensi Puasa Dalam Mencegah Risiko Penyakit Tidak Menular

Latar Belakang: Puasa telah menjadi topik penelitian yang menarik dalam konteks kesehatan, terutama dalam hubungannya dengan pencegahan penyakit tidak menular (PTM). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyusun tinjauan pustaka tentang manfaat puasa dalam mencegah penyakit tidak menular. Metode: Penelitian yang dilakukan adalah Narrative Literature Review (NLR). Hasil: Didapatkan 12 artikel ilmiah terpilih dengan rentang tahun 2017 hingga 2023. Meskipun puasa dapat memberikan manfaat dalam mencegah penyakit tidak menular, sangat penting untuk menggabungkannya dengan pola makan yang seimbang, gaya hidup sehat secara teratur dan tentunya berkonsultasi dengan tenaga ahli dalam bidang kesehatan. Kesimpulan: Berdasarkan hasil dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa puasa memiliki manfaat serta potensi yang baik untuk pencegahan terhadap penyakit tidak menular.
